In many ways, life is what you make of it. You can choose to be miserable and overwhelmed in the face of mental illness, or you can choose to see the ways it allows you to better appreciate the best parts of your life. Just as you can’t have darkness without light, you aren’t able to appreciate what is good for you if you don’t have anything bad.
